Headed South

Well, it's been 9 days and I've lost 10 pounds. I did a little victory dance on the scale this morning.

Last night I talked to my sis for over an hour which was basically like Christmas in February. I'm just crazy about her. Peter and I went over to Mom and Dad's last night so he could mountain bike ride with the neighbors. At one point in the conversation Tiff asked, "Are you at Mom's?" "Ya" "Did you ever move out??" We do hang with the padres quite a bit and I told her, "Well, Peter likes to ride on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings if he can so I would say I have one foot and two hands out the door." She came back with, "No, you have one foot and one pinky out the door!" It probably does seem that way...What can I say? Have you met my parents? They're 200% awesome! Who wouldn't want to hang out with them?

Guess what is slowly creepin' up on us? Our anniversary! I know, I know! I said slowly...We were talking the other day about what we'd want to do to celebrate. I think we might go down to Casa Laguna Inn for a night in Laguna Beach. It's the hotel I found off PCH a few years ago that I just fell in love with. Plus, it's also the hotel we checked out just minutes before we got engaged on April 25, 2009. We had some extra time in the schedule Peter set so he suggested we stop by to check it out for our first night's stay on the honeymoon. We ended up getting major hook ups at the Hyatt off PCH in Huntington so opted for that instead (Thank you Glenn & Elizabeth!!!). So I thought, let's go there for our anniversary! Considering we don't usually spend more than $50 on a room, it's kinda a leap but hey-- you only live once + it's our one year celebration.
