Safety Goggles

Since Peter is out of commission with his back, I've had to step in on a few projects around here. My first assignment was to cut a half inch off our laundry room shelves. I saw Peter use the angle grinder before and knew it was a bit "sparky" so I was a little hesitant. But I sucked it up and plugged it in.
Clearly, safety wasn't my number one priority...sandals, unprotected eyes...oh but I had Peter's hunting ear muffs! I have always hated loud things...
Grandma & Pa T- I remember sitting as close to the house as possible on the Fourth of July with my mom and I both covering my ears as we watched Grandpa and the uncles light off fireworks in the street. :)

Well, I immediately thought of my sophomore chemistry teacher when a spark jumped in my eye. Remember all those safety google lessons you'd get right before a wimpy experiment...
Where were my safety goggles!?!?!?!

ouch.
So, in true Styffe fashion, we went all out...
Oh yes we did...

lesson learned...always wear your safety HELMET!
xo, p&l
