Peter & his dad rented motorcycles and took off this morning for Yosemite. Peter is absolutely loving it! He finished his two final assignments last night and despite his late hours, he couldn't sleep because he was so excited about the weekend trip. Nathan, Nathan's friend and Nathan's friend's dad were driving up later with the motorhome and a trailer full of 3 bikes.
When he called earlier he was so excited to tell me about the snow on the mountains as he cruised through the Sequoias. Waterfalls were right beside the road rushing past him. Yes, the only way to improve the picture was to strap me on the back. Too bad it was a guys' trip. Next time though...don't even think about excluding me! :)
I'm so glad Peter, his brother & his dad have this memory in the making the week before our wedding.
yesterday= Peter finished college!
today= last time I wrote "Miss Alden" on the whiteboard.
tomorrow= single digits.
2tomorrows= sissy graduates!!
