It's not possible

to love our house any more than we already do. Peter is crazy about it. I am crazy about it. It's crazy awesome! I love everything about it! I just want to sit in one of our two purple leather chairs and stare at the blank white walls, 70's brown kitchen cupboards, our adorable country table, and the fantastic twisted tree outside our windows. I'm tellin you, it's bomb.com!
We got our frig and yes-- you guessed it-- we love it! I am particularly crazy about it because it matches our kitchen so well! I couldn't have made a better match if I had gone out shopping myself. It matches the stove and the cabinetry. It's cleaner than a bran new one (either Aunt Esther & Uncle Rick didn't EVER use it or Aunt Esther scrubbed for 8 days straight). Peter hooked up the ice maker which proved to be a little challenging. Thank goodness one of us has an extraordinary amount of patients!!
Friday night we had my bachelorette party (stay tuned for another post on that one) and then we came back to my new home and spent the night. It was so fun to show the girls where I will spend the next x amount of months. We woke up the next morning and after the girls packed up to head back to Biola, Tiff and I drove the whooping 3 miles to the beach. What was particularly, fun is that Tiff took me on a little adventure tour of my new town. We discovered the DMV, the In-N-Out, the Rubio's, the Grower's Direct, and so much more. We found a nice parking spot on 10th street and headed for the sand. An hour was spent resting, talking (which lead to laughing) and roasting...yes we both turned a little pinkish/reddish. :) We didn't want to be white for the wedding!
Tiff loves antique shops so we stopped by two on the way back to my place. Mom and dad were waiting on the front porch when we got there and we discovered the doorbell works! It just needed electricity....Peter showed up minutes later and the 5 of us sat around eating the leftover bachelorette cookies and showing pictures and telling stories of our fun night.
Once Jared arrived, the 6 of us headed up the street for Mom and Peter's birthday dinner at Outback...No rules, just right. Yum. After dinner, Mom and Dad took off and Tiff and Jared hung out at our place with us. It was fabulous. In case you missed it, we LOVE our house.
Tomorrow is our fourth and final shower. Yahoooooo...Party!! Maybe we will see some of you there. This one is all about Peter (couples' shower). I am excited for him to experience the joy of being "showered". It rocks!

See you soon!
14 days.
