What's happening?

Well....since you asked....

Peter is back in school....working hard as always. He informed me yesterday we would be going on a "hot date" this weekend. That's what I like to hear!

Monday Mom and I went to The Wedding Day to see the bridesmaid dresses. When she brought it out in the clear plastic bag my mind said, "No, no. That's not it." I didn't say anything to mom and began to prepare myself to live with it but I knew it wasn't right. Upon further inspection my mom came to the same realization. This store is not easy to work with and everything is "FINAL!!!" so I figured we didn't stand a chance at solving the problem. The dress was a very pale lavender which is the only color I knew I didn't want and communicated that from the beginning of the wedding process. Surprisingly, one of the ladies quickly stated that she knew what went wrong. After a few conversations and a couple hours of waiting they were very kind and promised to order the correct dresses without any charges to us. Yay! The dress color is Eggplant. The last batch was ordered Sept 5 and arrived mid January. They need to be a little quicker this time around....

Since being back I have picked up a substitute job nearly every day. 7th grade Humanities, 3rd grade, 4th grade, Friday will be high school chemistry.... :) Every day is different!

Peter's wedding ring arrived! We ordered it on Amazon! I think that is so funny! The world wide web has taken over! At first he thought it was too big and we were going to exchange it but then he tried it on a few days later and it was almost too tight. He has tried it on several times since and loves it. I made sure of it.

These are the colors I am aiming for...
The bridesmaids will be holding bouquets that look like this against their eggplant dresses while my bouquet is several shades of purple against white.
I love these for the men. Burlap will be a reoccurring theme at the wedding...runners on the table, on the programs (hopefully)...

Well, I hope you feel updated! Happy love weekend!
